Arrival Info and Policies

Welcome to Snow’s Cut RV Retreat!
Our address for GPS is 9533 River Road, Wilmington, NC 28412.

The following policies are in place to make sure that all guests have an enjoyable experience at the park. Please read and accept the terms below to confirm your reservation:

Check-in time: 2:00pm or any time that you arrive after 2:00pm.

Check-out Time: 12:00pm. Enforced unless prior permission is given for a late checkout. 

Please be respectful of other campers coming in behind you and remember that you could incur charges for an extra night if you do not check out on time.

Quiet hours: 11:00pm – 7:00am daily.

When arriving at the park, enter on the driveway (see map) and proceed to your lot. Lot numbers are posted at each space.

Lots 1-5 – Enter by mailboxes and office (gravel drive) entrance.

WHITE entrance

Lots 6, 8-10, 12, and 13

RED entrance

Lots 7, 11, 14, 22-41, and 48-56

BLUE entrance

Lots 42-47 and 57-69

*Propane refilling is not available after dark, or during rainy/windy weather due to safety considerations.

Reservation Policies

  • There are no full or partial refunds for cancellations or early departures.Reservation credits can be issued for a cancellation. All reservation credits expire after one year. This is a policy that you must click “ACCEPT” to on our reservation system before booking as an acknowledgement of this.
  • Lot assignments are not guaranteed.
  • We are sorry but we can not accommodate any RV units shorter than 15 feet or longer than 45 feet in length. We do not allow tent camping, truck or van camping, pop-up campers, soft-sided or hybrid campers.
  • No aggressive dog breeds are permitted at any time. Other well-behaved pets are welcome.  ADA and ESA Service Animals must be certified and must display their designation at all times when outside the RV. Before booking reservation, owners must submit a legitimate proof of certification on all Service Animals. No internet paid certifications allowed. ALL SERVICE ANIMALS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BEFORE ARRIVAL.
  • One RV unit per lot; You may only bring up to TWO VEHICLES PER LOT. This includes trucks, cars, and motorcycles. There is a small amount of overflow parking available. Please contact nearby storage facilities to park trailers, boats, jet-skis, etc. All vehicles must be properly licensed and display all registrations, license plates, etc. ANYONE PARKING VEHICLES ON EMPTY RV LOTS WILL BE CHARGED ON A PER NIGHT BASIS FOR TAKING UP AN EXTRA LOT!
  • Parking areas, (marked red on our map,) are for guests only! Each RV lot is set up for TWO vehicles in front of the RV. Please make use of these spaces at your lot.
  • YOU MUST BE TRUTHFUL ABOUT YOUR RV LENGTH AND AGE. If your RV is older than 2019, then you must call our office (919-467–6166) and submit a picture of your RV before we can make your reservation. You may also email pictures to us at snowscutrvretreat@gmail.com. We do go case by case on older models, so please call us! We love to see how some of the older models have been kept up so well or restored to pristine condition! Also, please call our office to book any stays over 1 month. The reservation portal will not allow any bookings over one month.
  • All Reservation Credits expire within 1 year from the date that they are issued.
  • ALL PAYMENTS FOR STAYS MUST BE PROCESSED BEFORE CHECK-OUT. IF A CHARGE IS OUTSTANDING  ON YOUR ACCOUNT AT TIME OF CHECK-OUT, IT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSED. 
  • IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM US IF YOU WISH TO EXTEND YOUR STAY THROUGH YOUR RESERVATION DATES.For extensions on reservations, please notify us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that your lot will be available for reservation extensions. Our availability grid is public on our website so reservations can be booked 24/7/365.
  • Long-term Stays:MONTHLY PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE WHEN THEY ARE DUE. Failure to make your payments in a timely manner WILL RESULT IN A TERMINATION OF YOUR RESERVATION and you will be required to leave the park. Any overdue payment exceeding three days results in an automatic cancellation of the reservation and an order will be issued for the RV to be removed from the park.

Arrivals and Departures

  • No onsite check-in or check-out. Check-in is completed once we receive your signature on the Policies Acknowledgement. Check-out time is enforced to prevent issues with incoming campers, a $50 late check-out fee if you do not check-out by 12pm. 
  • There is no guarantee that an early arrival will be available. Please call ahead to to verify that you will be allowed.
  • **RV LENGTHS ARE FOR RV ONLY – DO NOT INCLUDE  RV + TRUCK LENGTH** Any RV that shows up to check-in different than what the reservation lists on size, age or condition will cause your reservation to be cancelled and you will be asked to leave immediately. 
  • SEWER WASTE CAN NOT be dumped on the campsite upon departure. Please use the sewer connection to empty your tank. THIS IS A COUNTY HEALTH VIOLATION AND YOU WILL BE FINED AND BANNED FROM RETURNING TO OUR PARK. MINIMUM $100 CLEAN-UP FEE
  • Please leave your lot clean. All trash should be placed in bags and taken to the conveniently located trash cans. If any appliances, debris, or other trash is left on a lot after your departure, there is aminimum of $100 FEE for clean-up, hauling and disposal. 

Park Policies and Information

  • ALL GUESTS MUST ABIDE BY THE PARK POLICIES AND REGULATIONS. ANY BEHAVIOR THAT DOES NOT ADHERE TO THESE GUIDELINES WILL CAUSE THE RESERVATION TO BE CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY AND THE GUEST MUST VACATE THE PROPERTY. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN FOR PREPAYMENT OF ANY PAYMENTS MADE ON LOT RENT.
  • ALL GUESTS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR PARTIES MUST BE LISTED ON THE RESERVATION FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES.This includes all pets.
  • Each lot has its own sewer and water hook-ups. These are for resident guests’ use only. There is not a dumping station on the property. Non-resident guests MAY NOT empty their RV tanks into our sewer system.
  • For the safety of our guests, security cameras are in use throughout the entire property 24/7 and are monitored at all times. Daily sessions are recorded and held for future reference.
  • The speed limit is 6 mph. All diesel engines should idle in and out, please. DO NOT IDLE YOUR DIESEL TRUCK AT YOUR LOT. This is a disturbance to your neighbors. 
  •     YOU MAY ONLY DRIVE ON ASPHALT OR GRAVELED AREAS. DO NOT DRIVE/PARK ON ANY MULCH, GRASS, OR SAND AREAS!Towing will be at your expense if your vehicle gets stuck. Parking on the mulch could damage the irrigation lines so please do not park on mulched areas.
  • All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent at all times when away from your lot and when using the bath houses. Children should not be riding bikes or playing near the entrances of the park. When in the bath houses,  please monitor your children and DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO PLAY IN THE WATER OR USE UP HOT WATER UNNCESSARILY. YOUNG CHILDREN ARE ALSO NOT ALLOWED IN THE BATH HOUSES WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. THIS IS FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY.DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY IN THE ICE MACHINE! IT IS UNSANITARY AND AGAINST HEALTH DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT, AND YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO USE IT IF OTHER CHILDREN HAD BEEN PLAYING IN IT. THE ICE MACHINE IS UNDER VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AT ALL TIMES AND WE WILL NOTIFY YOU IF IT IS NOT USED PROPERLY! $50 minimum draining/cleaning fee will be charged to your reservation for any improper use of the ice machine.
  • Golf carts may be driven on park property only. These are not permitted on River Road or public roadways in Wilmington. Carolina Beach does allow permitted golf carts within town limits. Children under age 16 are not allowed to drive any golf carts on the park property without an adult in the cart.
  • Alcoholic beverages should be consumed on your lot only. Alcohol is not permitted in common areas, including the laundry room, community room, restroom, office, or any other space outside of your lot.
  • Long-term reservations guests will need to purchase a post office box at a local post office to receive mail. There is no on-site mail delivery for any lots due to postal regulations. Our manager is not responsible for delivering packages to campers.Packages may still be delivered to your lot, depending on the drivers, or are most often times delivered to the Community Room at the 9533 Bathhouse.
  • Snow’s Cut RV Retreat is not responsible for lost or stolen items, damage to an RV, injury to persons, or loss to property or person. You agree and accept all liability by booking the reservation in our park.
  • Damages to infrastructure, such as power, water or sewer connections, turf grass, irrigation lines, lot materials, synthetic turf areas, trees, shrubs or recreational equipment will incur fines upon check-out according to the amount of damage caused. You understand you will be notified by email, and that these charges will be assessed to your payment method on file. 

At Your Campsite

  • All lots are level, gravel lots. Wi-Fi included. No cable hook ups provided.
  • Please be a good neighbor! Keep your lot clean and tidy at all times.
    PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE LOCAL BUGS OR WILDLIFE.  🙂
  • NO PARKING AT THE SHOWER HOUSES UNLESS YOU ARE USING THE SHOWER HOUSE OR LAUNDRY
    FACILITIES.    Repeated violations will result in towing at the owner’s expense.
  • Electric vehicles may be charged on your own lot daily with a surcharge of $10.00 per night, $40.00 per week and $75 per month.
  • NO CHARGING OF ANY ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON EMPTY LOTS! Anyone violating this policy will be charged on the per night rate for an extra lot fee.
  • NO PARKING OF BOATS, TRAILERS OR EXTRA VEHICLES ON EMPTY LOTS. YOU WILL BE CHARGED AT A NIGHTLY RATE FOR PARKING!
  •     Upon departure all lots must be left clean of trash, cigarette butts, potted plants, and other belongings. We will charge your credit card for a cleaning and disposal fee. Charges will be assessed according to damages and amount of trash left on the lot. 
  •   Motorcycles with loud pipes/mufflers may not be driven in the park during quiet hours.
  • Trash must be placed in individual bags (tall kitchen bags). Do not place trash or food in any can without a liner. Please do not burn trash in the fire pits. Please take your trash to the conveniently located trash cans located throughout the park. The recycle containers are the green containers. BEER CANS ARE RECYCLABLE!
  • No washing of cars or RVs on site with water from the hook-ups. Commercial cleaning services using their own water in tanks are allowed. PLEASE SEE THE MOBILE WASHING CONTACT LISTED BELOW OR CHOOSE YOUR OWN.
  • Please use and enjoy the installed firepits. BURNING TRASH, BEER CANS, ETC. IN THE FIRE PITS IS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.Fines will be charged for damage to the fire pits from burning trash. FIRES MUST BE KEPT AT A SAFE LEVEL WHILE BURNING! THEY ARE THERE FOR YOUR CAMPING ENJOYMENT, NOT FOR CREATING A BONFIRE! Any misuse of the fire pit is considered a violation of our park policies. This is for the safety of all guests, their RVs, belongings and our property. Please treat your property and ours with respect.
  •     Do not place charcoal grills on top of the picnic tables.Guests will be charged a minimum of $50 for any damages to the tables.
  • During the summer season, beach towels and swimsuits may be hung outside to dry. However, no other outdoor clotheslines are permitted. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on both sides of the park for laundry services.
  • Kiddie pools are only allowed to be filled with water when in use. All pools must be emptied between uses and stored neatly out of the way. Pools left with water breed mosquitoes, and are a hazard for children and animals. Any pool seen to contain water when not in use is subject to being emptied and removed! Please be considerate of other guests and put them away when not in use!
  • The park is wooded with trees natural to NC, including Live Oaks and Pines. Please be aware of our trees when moving your RV unit. Please help us protect our trees. Do not cut any live trees or bushes for your campfire.
  • Do not park on empty sites unless you have a reservation for that site. IT MAY BE BOOKED AND YOU WILL BE BLOCKING THEIR CHECK-IN!
  • Do not move the picnic tables without permission from management.
  • Do not dig holes for any reason on the campsites.  Please do not allow your dogs to dig holes on the campsite. 
  • Do not accumulate belongings around your RV or allow personal belongings to become cluttered and unsightly. Please keep items around the exterior of the RV to a minimum and anything stored outside the RV must be kept in a clean and neat appearance. If you have excess items, you will need to rent a storage unit at any local storage facility.  Failure to keep your lot uncluttered and tidy will result in a termination of your reservation. No exterior sheds, porches or decks are allowed at rv lots.
  •     If you need repairs on your RV, please see the list of local providers. Snow’s Cut RV Retreat does not endorse any of these providers nor guarantee their services. Pet Policies

  • Well-behaved pets are welcome. Due to liability insurance requirements, no aggressive breeds of dogs are permitted.
  • Local laws require that pets are to be kept on a leash at all times when outside the RV. They may not be on tie-out lines or tethered to your unit, a tree, or any other structure at any time.Pets are allowed to be in a small, fenced area outside of the RV as long as their owners are outside with them at all times. DO NOT LEAVE ANY PETS OUTSIDE UNATTENDED. THIS IS FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY! No semi-permanent fencing structures allowed.
  • Quiet, well-behaved pets only. Unattended pets who bark and cause a nuisance will cause your reservation to be terminated.
  • Please pick up after your pet immediately and dispose of waste properly.Failure to do so will cause you to be asked to remove your RV from the park, and no refund will be given for early departure.
  • All pets must be up to date on their vaccines and display a current rabies tag on their collar.
  • Pets are not allowed in the community room, restrooms, or laundry room.
  •     ADA and ESA Service Animals must be certified and must display their designation at all times by vests, leashes or collars when outside the RV. Before booking a reservation, owners must submit a legitimate proof of certification on all service animals. No internet paid certifications allowed. Service certifications must be emailed to: snowscutrvretreat@gmail.comto be registered with us before the reservation can be confirmed.
    ALL SERVICE ANIMALS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BEFORE ARRIVAL.

Prohibited

  •     The use of any illegal drugs, excessive alcohol consumption or any behavior that is a nuisance to, or threatening to, or endangering other residents or guests of the park is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction from the property. No refunds on prepayment of reservation.
  • Work crews or groups of people staying in one RV are NOT ALLOWED FOR ANY REASON.
  • Construction equipment, trailers, or trucks are prohibited from being parked on park property.
  • We do not allow parties at the campsites or on any area of park property. This includes, but is not limited to large groups of people and birthday parties, family reunions, etc. We also do not allow large blow-up toys, decorations, or rental apparatus.
  • NO storage trailers on site at any time. Boats, Jet-Skis, and boat trailers must be stored off property.
  • NO sheds, porches, steps, or balconies are allowed on RVs or RV lots. We do not allow any additional structures to be built onto any RV or any RV Lot.
  • Clothes lines (the only exception is that beach towels and swimsuits may be dried outside during the summer season).
  • Tent camping, truck camping, pop-up campers, and hybrid campers with tent extensions are not allowed in our park. We do not allow any RVs under 15′ in length.
  • Toy Hauler style RVs are only allowed without toys.
  • ATVs, 3-Wheelers, etc. are prohibited on our property.
  • Use of fireworks at any time is prohibited, even on holidays.No fireworks allowed on the park property AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT.
  • Loud Music  is not allowed to be played at any time, night or day!
  • Rentals: RVs must be owner-occupied. You may not rent the RV on site to another party.
  • RVs that are rented specifically for a vacation through places like RVShare or Outdoorsy are permitted as long as the person whose name is on the agreement is staying in the RV.
  • NO Airbnb rentals, or rentals to friends and/or family of any RV on site. Owner must be present.
  • No employee or family rotation of occupants in the RV. The original occupants that booked the reservation must be the ones that stay on site. Any misrepresentation of occupants or visitors to your RV will be grounds for immediate termination of your reservation.

BY BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION, YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE POLICIES.   YOU ALSO AGREE THAT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY RESERVATION AND THAT NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR GUEST CANCELLATIONS IMPOSED FOR POLICY VIOLATIONS OR EARLY DEPARTURES.
